Is RoamKit live yet?
Not yet. RoamKit is pre-launch and currently building the local host network in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach, and nearby coastal areas before opening bookings to adventurers.
Do I have to deliver the gear?
No. Hosts can choose what works for them. You may offer pickup only, delivery only, both, or specific handoff windows depending on your schedule and comfort level.
What kinds of gear can I list?
Paddleboards, kayaks, surfboards, beach cruisers, e-bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, pickleball sets, camping kits, and other quality outdoor gear that adventurers would want to rent locally.
What about damage?
We’ll walk hosts through the damage protection process before any rentals go live. The goal is to include clear photos, expectations, renter accountability, and a simple process if something goes wrong.
Do I have to commit right away?
No. Applying just tells us what gear you have and lets us follow up with more details. Since we’re still pre-launch, this is a low-pressure way to explore whether hosting is a fit.
